Diana is originally from South America. She was born and raised in Valencia, Venezuela. She is married to an American, and has two daughters. She received her business administration degree in 1998 from the Universidad de Carabobo in Valencia. In addition to her professional career, Diana and her sister started a tutoring business when they were in college which continued after graduating. Eva was born and raised in the Rheinland in Western Germany as a daughter of the high-school director. Eva was taught Latin, English, and French in early childhood. She later started learning Italian too – just for fun. Eva states, that she is convinced that it is very important to be exposed early in life to foreign languages, but – even more excitingly – to get acquainted with different cultures, philosophies, and ways of life. Fiona, a native Spanish speaker, was born in Costa Rica and lived in Guatemala and Mexico throughout her childhood. She moved to the United States at age 15 and after high school attained a BS from University of Florida in 1999. She then moved to Miami, her home for 9 years prior to moving to Charleston in 2009. Fiona has four years of experience teaching Spanish at the elementary school level. Fiona and her husband and three young children enjoy traveling extensively each summer. This summer they find their "home away from home" in Panajachel, Guatemala.

Ingrid Ginn was born in Cucuta, Colombia. Her family moved to Cali, Colombia, where she grew up. Ingrid moved to the United States in 2013 to marry her American husband.  Ingrid, her husband and two daughters live in Summerville. Ingrid taught youth groups at her Church in Colombia for 10 years.  She was also a leader in her Christian Church.  Ingrid continues to work with her own daughters in Spanish to ensure that they hold on to their own heritage language and culture. Margarita is originally from Querétaro, México, having also lived in the Mexican states of Veracruz and Yucatán.  She has lived in the United States since 1991.  She attended college in Massachusetts and Mississippi, earning an Associate Degree in Business Administration and a BA in Sociology.  She has lived in Mount Pleasant since 2006 with her husband and two children.  Margarita enjoys sharing her culture and language with children, saying, "I think exposing a child to a different culture and language is a true gift; it will definitely widen their horizons and sensitivity toward other cultures and people."

Mary is originally from North Carolina, USA.  Mary has over 30 years' personal experience in learning and using foreign languages.  She lives in Charleston with her husband and two wonderful children.  They enjoy spending time on the water, riding bicycles, horseback riding and travel. Sonia is from Toledo, Spain.  She attended college in Spain, earning an Associate Degree in Business Administration.  She has lived in the United States since 2000, moving to Mount Pleasant in 2001.  She lives with her husband and two children.  Sonia worked teaching Spanish to children in several local schools in Mount Pleasant before coming to Bridges Language School, where she has been since its beginning in 2008.  Sonia loves sharing her country’s “happy, extraordinary, relaxing and comfortable” culture and language with the children…she states, “Spaniards are very friendly and we always find a good reason to celebrate.”
